Soprano
In 2010 she graduated in Opera Singing in Conservatory of Santa Cecilia in Rome and obtained a master’s degree cum laude specializing in Baroque Singing with Mº Sara Mingardo and Furio Zanasi. In 2014 she attended the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia’s Opera Studio with Renata Scotto and Claudio Desderi. In 2015 she won the Comunità Europea Competition for young opera singers in Spoleto, studying with L. Cuberli, E. Moser, A. Felle.
The versatile voice and the outstanding musical skills allows her to interpret, with great success among critics and audience, a wide musical repertoire, from ancient to contemporary music for which she is considered one of the major interpreters in Italy.
In 2022 she performed “Auden Cabaret” by Matteo D’Amico at the Teatro Argentina in Rome, with the Ensemble Sentieri Selvaggi, conducted by C. Boccadoro. In 2021, at the same theater, on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the Accademia Filarmonica Romana, she performed the suite from “Lou Salomè” by Giuseppe Sinopoli. In 2019 she interpreted “Le esequie della luna” by F. Pennisi at the Teatro Politeama in Palermo with the Orchestra Sinfonica Siciliana conducted by G. Bonolis. In the same year she performed “Thanatoséros” by Ivan Fedele with Parco della Musica Contemporanea Ensemble conducted by Tonino Battista at the Auditorium Parco della Musica, recorded and aired on Rai 5. She also interpreted Clorinda in “Tancredi appresso il combattimento” by Carlo Ambrosini, performed for Nuova Consonanza festival in Rome, Hanako in the opera “Hanjo” by Marcello Panni, conducted by Carlo Boccadoro, recording a DVD for Ema Vinci, and she performed at the world premiere of “Un’infinita primavera attendo” by Daniele Carnini, commissioned by the Accademia Filarmonica Romana in memory of Aldo Moro, with a text by Sandro Cappelletto, recorded and aired on Rai 5. In 2020 she performed the world premiere of “Delwende” by Fausto Sebastiani, on a text by Sandro Cappelletto, at the Teatro Palladium in Rome.
Acclaimed for her acting skills, she performed many roles in operatic works of the XX century: Mariuccia in “I due timidi” and Lei in “La notte di un nevrastenico” by N. Rota, for the Reate Festival, directed by C. Scarton, recorded both in DVD and CD for Dynamic; Rowan in “Il piccolo spazzacamino” di B. Britten; Susanna in “Il segreto di Susanna” by E. Wolf-Ferrari; Lucy in “The telephone” by G. Menotti; Mrs. Gobinau in “The Medium” by G. Menotti.
She performed many ancient music works debuting in 2019 at the Teatro Comunale di Ferrara in the opera “Acis and Galatea” by G. F. Händel in the role of Galatea, conducted by A. Quarta. In the same year she has been Atamira in “L’empio punito” by A. Melani in the first performance in modern times in Rome 350 years after the world premiere, for the Reate Festival. She interpreted Minerva and Amore in the opera “Il ritorno di Ulisse in patria” by C. Monteverdi; Lischen in “Schweigt stille, plaudert nicht” by J. S. Bach at Teatro Pergolesi in Jesi; Zeffiro in “La Circe” by A. Stradella; Umiltà and Nobiltà in “Santa Editta” by A. Stradella at the Oratorio del Gonfalone in Rome; Didone in the opera “Dido and Aeneas” by H. Purcell for the Cantiere Internazionale d’arte di Montepulciano; Carlotta in “La finta tedesca” by J. A. Hasse for Vicenza in lirica festival; Flaminia in the comic opera “Il mondo della luna” by G. Paisiello at the Italian Institute of Culture in Budapest; Arsenia in the opera “Don Trastullo” by N. Jommelli at the Teatro di Villa Torlonia; Serpina in “La serva padrona” by G. B. Pergolesi; Dirindina in “La Dirindina” by D. Scarlatti; Clorinda in “Il combattimento di Tancredi e Clorinda” by C. Monteverdi at the Teatro Vespasiano in Rieti and the Teatro Palladium in Rome.
She also debuted in the role of Oscar in “Un ballo in maschera” by G. Verdi at the Teatro Nuovo Gian Carlo Menotti in Spoleto, conducted by M. Angius. In 2015 at the same theatre she debuted in the role of Musetta in “La Bohème” by G. Puccini, conducted by C. Palleschi. With the same production, in 2016, she took part in a tournée singing in Japan’s most important theaters such as the Bunka Kaikan Theatre in Tokyo, the Aichi Prefectural Theatre in Nagoya, the Across Theatre in Fukuoka, the Festival Hall in Osaka. In 2013 she performed, during the european tournée of the Orchestra dei Conservatori di Musica Italiani conducted by A. Fogliani, at the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma, at the Teatro Verdi di Trieste, at the Giuseppe Verdi Hall at the Italian Institute of Culture in Budapest, in the Music Academy’s Concert Hall in Cracovia and in the Polski Theatre in Varsavia.
As a soloist she also performed the G Major Mass by F. Schubert at the Beijing National Centre for the Performing Arts, the Symphony n. 9 by L. V. Beethoven with the World Youth Orchestra at the National Theatre in Sarajevo, the Te Deum by M. A. Charpentier with Orchestra Sinfonica Abruzzese, the Symphony n. 4 by G. Mahler, the Petite Messe Solennelle by G. Rossini, the Coronation Mass by W. A. Mozart, the Nelson Mass by F. J. Haydn, the Symphony n. 2 “Lobgesang” by F. Mendelssohn, the Messiah by G. F. Händel, the Magnificat and Gloria by A. Vivaldi, the Magnificat and Cantata “Jauchzet Gott in allen landen” BWV 51 by J. S. Bach, the Requiem by W. A. Mozart, the Carmina Burana by C. Orff, the Stabat Mater and Salve Regina by G. B. Pergolesi, the Christmas Cantata by A. Stradella, the Salve Regina by A. Scarlatti, working with orchestras and ensemble such as Roma Sinfonietta, Concerto Romano, Mare Nostrum and Nova Amadeus. In February 2020 she also performed in Rome the entire “Winterreise” by F. Schubert.
